Prestigious Financial Institution is currently seeking a Workday HRIS Manager. Candidate will be responsible for managing the day to day support as well as optimizing and enhancing the Workday HCM platform. We are seeking a Workday subject matter expert with experience across several Workday HCM modules including Core HCM, Learning, Time Tracking, Talent Management, Performance Management, Compensation, Benefits and Talent Acquisition. The Workday Manager will be responsible for the support and delivery of business processes, reports, dashboards, integrations, and configuration to maximize organizational and business performance while ensuring alignment to best practices and the delivery of scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with HRIS and lead internal business users and stakeholders to prioritize, design, scope, and develop requirements for implementing new features and functionality in Workday HCM
  • Recommend technical and functional solutions taking into account priorities, tradeoffs, and best practices while driving alignment among stakeholders
  • Responsible for execution of detailed implementation plans including estimation, design, build, test, deploy, and support
  • Lead troubleshooting and escalations across the business, vendors, and information technology
  • Lead the support for the Workday system including, but not limited to, research and resolution of system issues, user support, and scheduled activities
  • Lead and ensure alignment to standards and best practices when engaged with Workday implementation partners
  • Manage the design of Workday integrations as per requirements to ensure technical and business objectives are met
  • Design solutions that ensure the integrity and quality of data is precise to ensure reporting accuracy
  • Stay up to date on all new features and functionality provided by Workday across HCM, cross-application services, and some areas of Financials relevant to the current implementation
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Workday - build upon/maintain professional relationships with key colleagues, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure that the services and solutions provided meet the current and future needs
  • Technology ownership of Workday system and other HCM technologies
  • Manage and communicate regular status and other key metrics
  • Lead and support the resolution of integration issues, execute ad hoc data uploads, implement change requests and develop of complex reports and dashboards
  • Ensure the team maintains awareness of current trends in HCM through classes, reading, and conferences, and Workday Community to continuously increase Human Resources and HRIS knowledge
  • Lead and mentor a team. Develop the team for individual and organization success.
  • Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of Workday Security based on best practices
  • Manage 3-5 direct reports
  • Manage external resources such as contractors and implementation partners throughout the delivery life cycle, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Requires an in-depth knowledge of a development life cycle under Agile methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment

Technical Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office desktop tools (Project, Word, Excel).
  • Requires a broad knowledge of HCM systems and technologies
  • Experience with implementing and configuring Workday business processes, required
  • Deep understanding of Workday data and structure, reporting, dashboards and EIBs, required
  • Workday Security Administration, required
  • Experience with web service integrations (SOAP, WSDL, XML) and Core Connectors, preferred
  • Expertise with complex Workday calculated fields, condition rules, and eligibility rules, required
  • Undergraduate Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or related
  • 10+ years of hands on experience with HCM systems
  • 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting Workday HCM
  • 3+ years of management experience
  • Strong background in functional areas of Human Resources
  • Project experience with multiple Workday HCM (or other HR technology) implementations
  • Workday certified professional, required
  • Workday Security Pro, preferred
  • SHRM, preferred
