Exciting opportunity for a Data Quality Analyst to join one of our clients based in Brussels for a contract assignment. (3 days remote and 2 days on site post COVID restrcitions)

The Data Quality team is part of the management team of the Data Governance Centre of Expertise, which reports to the CDO. The candidate will work on client cleansing activities in a broad sense. This includes designing & implementing new processes, remediation plans with main stakeholders on different topics related to Data quality management on one or more data perimeters.


  • Performs cleansing of data quality issues through the analysis and solving of potential dysfunctions and/or non-optimized usage of data:
    • Identification of Data Quality issues (proactive and reactive).
    • Prioritization of issues.
    • Problem definition.
    • Analysis of root causes.
    • Proposition of solutions.
    • Implementation of chosen solution (via IT development or via update of process).
    • Application of change management actions for impacted teams.
  • Monitors the data quality based on data quality dashboards, supports redesign & upgrade.
  • Contributes to designing, monitoring and reporting on common reference tools (eg data definitions, dictionaries and glossaries), consolidating and harmonizing them.
  • Contributes, via the Data Community, to raising awareness of the importance of data quality.

Required Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience in Data Quality Analysis in a bank.
  • Understanding of data life cycle and data usage.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong analytical ability.
  • Business Object experience.
  • Office tools (Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint).
  • Communication skills, written and spoken.
  • Experience in performing data analysis to demonstrate business impact.
  • Previous experience in the banking environment.
