UX Designer - London (remote working) - £40K + Benefits

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen within a field leading charity who are currently looking to add a UX designer with ideally 2-4 years experience to their existing team. The ideal candidate will have a good eye for design, be involved in pre & post design and have previous research gathering expertise.

Job purpose

  • To plan, conduct and report on the day to day user research, wireframing, prototyping and testing tasks within the Digital Products team
  • To use research techniques and methods to understand and empathise with the audience of our digital products throughout their life cycle
  • To formulate product design hypotheses as part of the wider team, and test them, be it through surveys, rapid prototyping, wireframing or other means
  • To produce design solutions of varying degrees of fidelity, informed by user research and business objectives
  • To create delightful and easy-to-use interfaces, with a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail
  • To help inform our product backlogs with user flows and interaction models, validated by research
  • To support the planning and facilitation UX workshops, user testing and co-design sessions, analysing and synthesising findings in order to communicate and make recommendations to the team and the wider organisation
  • To collate findings into a bank of research that is maintained and accessible for reference and consultation.

Technical skills

  • Proven track record in a UX/UI design role with a strong portfolio of related projects
  • Prototyping
  • Sketch
  • Figma
  • Research Gathering
  • Proficient with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop)
