Why you might like to work here
The E-commerce platform is leading-edge, and always working on improving its customer journey. Its performance has been strong, even during the pandemic downturn, and has gained recognition across the business and in industry.
They are keen to take on someone that keeps an eye on new technologies that can further enable their E-commerce and wider business. If you love new tech, you'll be welcome here.
You'll join a friendly team who have been rewarded based on their contributions, with recent promotions across the department, and be responsible for bringing your team of two on the same path.
You'll work on a React SPA E-commerce website that sits on REST headless platform. Principally involving coding, improving UX and customer journey, resolving bugs, and working towards enabling marketing transformation.
This role is also responsible for managing their two junior developers, whose careers the company is investing in to progress them towards mid-level and beyond.
To be considered for the role, your application should show how you meet these criteria:
- Good proficiency in React, NodeJS, REST APIs, ECMAScript, HTML and CSS
- Problem solver who loves learning new tech, languages and platforms
- Supervisory or management experience of a small team
This is a tech development role, rather than creative, and the emphasis is on coding skills.
While based remotely, it's important for them to provide good support and team spirit, so you won't be on your own!
