The senior delivery manager is responsible for the successful implementation of all internal and external projects. The requirement of the role is ensuring the business provides the highest level of quality and drives innovation while ensuring our projects are delivered on-time, to budget and exceed expectations. This role must drive through continuous improvements to ensure the business is continuously developing and adapting.

The role reports directly to the Director of Service and is a member of the Operations Management Team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Directly manage a team of project managers
  • Manage via project deliverables all technical and non-technical staff - taking into consideration non-project workstreams and working with line management
  • Sign-off that new hires meet the skills required within the department
  • Developing procedures to ensure that quality standards are met and consistent
  • The first point of escalation during the delivery phase for Adoption projects
  • The delivery supplier owner for all key suppliers and partners in the delivery of solutions
  • Ensure that all project risks are managed and alerted appropriately
  • Lead and manage large, complex enterprise-level projects
  • Playing a consultative role to help put in place the appropriate people, process, and tools and coaching members of the team as needed to optimise the efficiency of the project team
  • SME of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices, with the ability to blend them in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment
  • Provide the first point of escalation for Information Security matters
  • Identify business process improvement opportunities, and lead through implementation to adoption as required
  • Provide leadership and collaborate with customers and develop strategies and solutions of high business value
  • Demonstrable Adoption experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organisational skills, with an ability to manage competing demands
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
  • Experience in managing Adoption projects and allocated methodologies, such as ADKAR
  • Base salary circa £65,000
  • Based in Cardiff
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Multiple HIIT, general fitness, yoga and meditation classes run virtually each week! (In addition to other wellness events and other social activities...)

Requirements

  • Demonstrable Adoption experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organisational skills, with an ability to manage competing demands
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
  • Experience in managing Adoption projects and allocated methodologies, such as ADKAR

Benefits
