An opportunity has arisen for an SAP Enterprise Architect to join leading global law firm as part of their globally diverse and friendly team.
You will be required to support the Firm in delivering a best-in-class service to clients. They are embarking on a period of technology change that will see the significant transformation to the core platforms that serve their lawyers and business teams, including changes to ERP systems. To help drive this period of change, they're expanding their Technology Architecture team to include an Enterprise Architect dedicated to the Finance and Business Management domains, who will guide the Firm through their move to SAP S/4HANA and beyond.
Your responsibilities will include:
Applying technical and commercial understanding to achieve business outcomes via effective programs of change and investment.
Providing guidance for the technical design of systems and projects, ensuring solutions are architected for global delivery.
Collaborating with all areas of the Technology department and business on the role of architecture, influencing key stakeholders towards changes that develop the technology platform in line with the strategy.
Ensuring the Firm's business strategy, technology strategy and market trends are aligned in the processes and systems.
Examining areas of the Technology function, looking for opportunities to improve the services they offer to the Practice and their clients.
Driving business value from strategic investments through the re-use of technology platforms.
We are looking for an Enterprise Architect who has the following skills and experiences:
Deep and practical knowledge of the SAP ERP platform and its architecture, ideally with experience of SAP CRM, SAP BW or S/4HANA.
Practical and commercial experience in a strategic and/or technical change role within an IT system-driven environment.
Eager for change and continuous improvement, with strong communication, ownership, and team management skills.
An articulate and confident communicator at all levels of the organisation and with external parties
Previous experience of building and maintaining effective working relationships at all levels.
A strong understanding and appreciation of mainstream technology and mainstream technology providers.
A proven understanding of the techniques of system development and service management disciplines.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that not only looks for brilliant minds, but for people who will thrive in their environment: people who love working collaboratively and demonstrate the innovative, efficient, agile, entrepreneurial, and responsible mindset they aim to bring to every interaction.
This is a hybrid working role where you will spend 50-80% of your time in the office (100% at home during lockdown or "Plan B" government measures), and in return will receive a fantastic range of benefits including Private Medical Insurance, access to the free in-house fitness centre and subsidised health club membership, an onsite GP service, maternity/paternity/shared parental leave, income protection, additional holiday/birthday leave, matched giving, travel insurance, season ticket loan and the option to join social and sporting clubs.
