Our client a wildlife trust is the county's largest environmental charity, working for the protection and enhancement of Norfolk's wildlife and wild places.

Seasonal Engagement Officers
Contract: Two full-time contracts; one from 14 March - 16 September 2022, and one from 14 March - 31 October 2022)
Hours: Full Time
Salary: £19,292 per annum, pro rata

Our client is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join the Engagement Team in delivering environmental and outdoor learning on their nature reserves, in schools and to communities across Norfolk.

They have a proven and respected track record of delivering outdoor learning to schools, and are proud to have been awarded the Council for Learning Outside the Classroom's Quality Badge. They also run an active programme of informal education activities for families during school holidays and at weekends, and attend events across the county. The Seasonal Engagement Officers will be based in Norwich, but will frequently travel to several of the charity's reserves across Norfolk. Frequent travel to other sites around Norfolk to attend events and visit schools will also be required. Post holders may also be required to work from home, and deliver engagement sessions online, as part of our dynamic response to Covid-19 restrictions.

The successful candidates will have excellent communication and organisational skills. Good local wildlife knowledge, experience of working with young people and some teaching or delivery of outdoor learning are essential.
