Job Description
Our security practice is rapidly growing and need up and coming talent and experts in one or more of the following domains of security: InfoSec, Secure Architecture, Zero Trust, Cloud Security / DevSecOps Engineering, and Penetration Testing.

The work is varied, often crosses multiple domains, is customer facing, and has short communication lines. We expect our employees to be flexible and willing to lend a hand, sometimes there are opportunities to travel and do short engagements at other locations. Many engagements allow you to work some or most of your time from home.

We want to make a difference in the UK and global market, helping our clients get more secure through multiple means, from governance, to injecting security into their CI/CD pipelines, to penetration testing, and training. We are genuinely interested in helping our clients become more secure, we are not a 'tick the box' organisation.

Key Responsibilities
Toolset/Experience Required
For the people that don't like stories and prefer to read lists - what we're looking for is:

  • Demonstrated high level of competency with various software, tools, standards, certs, frameworks (e.g. Kali, BurpSuite, Office 365, emacs, vim, git, programming/scripting, PowerBI, HIPAA, NZ/AU ISM, ISO, NIST, GDPR, OSCP, OWASP, CISSP)
  • High ethical standards, and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information. Excellent judgment, discretion and diplomacy
  • 2 years of work experience in security with a customer facing role
  • In-depth understanding of software security and able to tie this to business risks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to talk to business owners as well as very technical people
  • Can code & script if you are on the technical side of security for multiple platforms
  • Ability to react quickly in a fast-paced environment with varying complexities and priorities
  • Ability to scope, execute, and write/present reports for security engagements for multiple levels of the business, like project managers, C-suite, and board
  • Know when it is right to ask for help/support and are willing to go the extra mile to help and support other team members
