Business Development Executive
We are working alongside a well established provider of financial services to find a Business Development Executive to join their Asset Finance team. Based out of their brand new, state of the art offices, overlooking the race course, the successful candidate will enjoy a generous salary with a great company culture and opportunity to progress.
Description of role and key responsibilities:
* Supporting the presentation of the business to potential clients and assists the Business Development Managers (BDM) in the sales, credit/underwriting and onboarding process of invoice finance clients.
* Engaging with potential clients; via email and/or phone, follow up new business opportunities and arrange meetings.
* Assisting in the planning of pitches and work with BDM’s to develop, create and be accountable for all client quotes and proposals.
* Achieve productivity and sales budget KPI’s set out by the Company.
* Assisting in the planning of new marketing initiatives and attend conferences, meetings, and industry events with colleagues.
* Support the maintenance and management of a pipeline
Core Skills and Knowledge:
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience within Invoice Finance or Financial Services is preferred; however, consideration will be given to those with alternative sector experience in invoice finance.
* Be highly motivated self starter that enjoys working under time pressure and targets. Dedicated and able to work with within a team with a desire to drive success. Highly customer focused with a commitment to achieve the highest standards.
* Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with ability to influence.
* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook; experience of using CRM systems, ideally Salesforce.
Any other attributes that would be helpful, but not essential for the role:
* Excellent time management and organisation and able to prioritise.
* In-depth knowledge of the invoice finance industry and its events or willing to learn.
* Internal or external customer facing sales or customer service experience with a proven and successful ability to manage a portfolio of client relationships.
