Our prestigious client based in Cardiff, are looking for a Business Development Executive join their successful Sales division on a permanent basis.

You will be responsible for new business acquisition and account management of existing accounts, to ensure achievement of agreed targets and profitability for the sale of training courses to customers across Wales.

This is an exciting opportunity for driven and experienced candidates to join a well-known brand, with opportunities to forge a rewarding career.

Identify new customers/opportunities/prospects for the company's training courses, converting prospects/opportunities into valued customers.
Communicate with new and existing customers to develop effective relationships, familiarise, and identify with their business and to advise/assist them by suggesting appropriate solutions.
Promote the work of company at every relevant opportunity including represent company at external business shows and networking events.
Keep abreast of changes and new developments with regards to health & safety law and associated codes of practice.
Identify and tender for suitable business opportunities within the commercial, public and private sectors.
Submit high quality, well researched tender responses /proposals.
Develop and maintain Company sales related databases and to generate and provide appropriate, timely sales reports.
Liaise with management regarding sales strategic planning and ongoing business opportunities.The ideal candidate will have:

Excellent negotiation skills with a commercial outlook.
Previous Sales and or Account Management experience.
Highly developed Microsoft Office skills.
Strong ability to conduct successful meetings over Microsoft Teams and in face-to-face settings.
Ability to prioritise workload.
Car driver is essential.Our client offer a fantastic working environment, and this role sits within a busy but collaborative team. The company offer a competitive base salary, plus a realistic and achievable OTE structure.

Salary (base depending on experience): £20,000 - £25,000 + commission / OTE up to £35,000
