As a Lead Developer / Technical Lead you will be required to Architect and build features across their product range. You will work closely with the existing development team, providing technical direction and guidance on appropriate development practices, as well as working closely with product teams to fully understand the end users.

The key responsibilities of the role are as follows;
Collaborating closely with the team to solve technical challenges and reviewing their outputs ahead of client delivery.
Establishing a clear roadmap for technical direction, demonstrating how strategic development can improve our multiple service offerings, while meeting client needs in the highly regulated environments in which they operate.
Utilizing your substantial expertise in a strategic and planning capacity, while remaining 'hands-on' within the development team and adopting a hands-on approach to your development style.
Creating and validating project architecture and associated documentation.
Playing an integral role throughout the entirety of the development life cycle.
Thinking creatively in order to bring innovative ideas to the table.
We are looking for a Lead Developer / Technical Lead with experience in the following key areas;
In-depth knowledge of C# and .NET
Experience with Microsoft Azure (Functions, CosmosDB, Service Bus, Eventing, Storage).
Working within an Agile software environment.
Ability to take ownership of product features from inception to release.
You take pride in your work.
You appreciate software design as an art but make pragmatic decisions as and when needed.
You build iteratively so you can see features in the hands of users.
You are empathetic, thoughtful and resolute.
You never stop learning.
This role is being offered as a remote position with very occasional trips to the office - the main office locations are Exeter and Reading.
To be considered for the role you MUST be based in the UK, and you MUST be eligible to work in the UK on a full-time and permanent basis.
