MONDAY – FRIDAY, 8.30AM – 5.30PM

PERMANENT POSITION

Our client is a "Managed Service Provider" - providing IT support and IT consulting. Their customers see them as trusted advisors who improve their business and guide them through the world of tech. Whilst they expect occasional on-site visits (once or twice a week), they are predominantly a remote-working company - operating a "come into the office if you prefer to or need to" approach.

The Account Manager (or vCIO) is the main point of contact for their customers. We are looking for someone proactive who will get to know the customers, understand their long-term plans, how they operate their company and make proactive recommendations of how they can help them to accomplish their goals. Our client offers advice to the customer, whether they have a product to solve their problems or not. You will be responsible for around 25 customers, who you will need to meet with periodically.

Whilst technical awareness will certainly make the role easier for you, your personality is what we're most interested in. You will need to give customers confidence that you can solve their problems, you don't need chasing for updates, that you know the subject-matter and that they see you as an equal. They have a great team who care about one another on a personal level. They believe in having a fun working environment and are looking for the right personality to fit in with the team.

The following are some of the main duties the current Account Managers perform:

Work with active customers to develop a deep understanding of their business needs and help them achieve success through the effective use of and adoption of new technologies, where possible try to align those needs with products and services from the company stack
Identify new sales opportunities for current customers
Be the customer champion, strive to be your customers trusted advisor and their primary point of contact
Conduct onsite or online presentations that showcase the services and products of the company to active customers
Work with leadership team to develop proposals, quotes and respond to RFP/RFI documents from existing and new leads
Effectively communicate features and benefits of solutions and manage prospect expectations throughout the lifecycle of the account.
Manage the complexity of service proposals, contracts, lease agreements and service level agreements

Maintain in-depth product knowledge of the service offerings of the company
Perform sales procedures through activities and opportunities in ConnectWise and remain compliant with defined policies and procedures
Achieve and maintain a positive bond with your customers
Obtain referrals and feedback for marketing and sales purposes
Perform regular profitability checks on your clients and take action where appropriate to bring clients in line with company’s profitability targets
Be proactive – make regular outbound calls to all your customers
Attend weekly sales meetings and ensure sales opportunities are compliant with company policy
Develop in-depth knowledge of the service catalogue and how it relates to customer’s needs
Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities
Responsible for entering time and expenses in ConnectWise as they occur
Understand processes in ConnectWise by completing assigned training materials and blueprints on the ConnectWise University
Enter all work as activities or service tickets in ConnectWise
Perform quarterly review meetings with all customers and work with leadership to develop that process to achieve success for our clients and EPX
