A client of ours in the Braintree area is looking for a Account Manager to join their growing team. This is a full time permanent role paying £23,000 - £25,000 depending on experience and working a shift pattern of 8.00am - 4.30pm 4 days a week & one day 11.30am - 8.00pm. You will need to work 1 in 5 weekends also.

As an Account Manager you will be responsible for the following:

Sales Coordinator Duties:

Respond to RFQ's and follow up on quotes
Negotiation of price in accordance with limits set
Trade inventory stock by means of exchange, loan and sale
Source and assist with pricing of inventory for specific customer requirements
Processing of sales orders and all related documentation without unnecessary delay
Negotiating with customers and suppliers.
Maximising all sales opportunities.
Responding to customer AOG/priority requirements as required.
Liaise and coordinate with internal departments to prevent delays to customers
Provide after-sales support to customers including appropriate resolution of complaints to the customer's satisfaction
Developing relationships and business opportunities with customers and suppliers.
Analysis of available data and sharing of insights with the team
Update databases with relevant information
Carry out general administration tasks to support with the operations and sales team
Keep stock platforms up-to-date - including Parts Base, Locatory and Marc
Assisting Marketing department with marketing campaigns and research as required
Adhere to requests from marketing to maximise contacts made with 'target customer' list companies
Assisting with the QA department with Supplier and Sub-Contractor approvals.
Participation in AOG Roster providing an out of Hours Service to customers
Reading, Learning and understanding IPC'S

Account Manager:

Account managers are responsible for their own customers, these duties are in addition to the Sales Coordinator duties.
Maintain Contact Databases
Assisting in the development of the Sales team in line with business growth.
Identify and develop new relationships with potential customers
Manage Customer Accounts and provide customer with a single point of contact.
Build close working relationships with account customers to identify their business needs and also what the company can do to improve the relationship and offering to them
Attending customer visits and industry exhibitions periodically with approval from your line manager.
