This is a great opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join a growing and developing IT business, who are looking to support and increase a range of Government Contracts, within the IT and Consultancy space.

You will be developing and working with a number of leads to maximise revenue generation through the consultative selling of solutions and technology.

As an Account Manager you will be able to: -

Sell a range of services, solutions and technology to Government Agencies, Critical National Infrastructure and customers in the UK and Europe.

Build and manage a credible sales pipeline that enables sales objectives to be met.

Provide clients and the business with a structured sales process and next steps to provide full visibility into key accounts, opportunities and forecasts.

Be a brand ambassador in the marketplace, participating in industry events and forums.

Engage resources effectively in the pursuit of business including marketing, pre-sales, Technicians and, where necessary, for larger scale strategic opportunities product development.

Provide support to bids, as required.

To be successful as an Account Manager you will have: -

Previous Sales, Account Management, Pre-sales or technical experience.

Thorough understanding of Public Sector procurement cycles and a successful track record in negotiating and closing sales.

Proven ability to demonstrate solution value to key prospects at a senior stakeholder level

Ability to co-ordinate the end-to end activities from pre-sales through to post sales to ensure excellent levels of engagement and service throughout the process.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Deep and broad understanding of the UK government market, such as, the Home Office, Foreign Office, HMRC etc.

Must be able communicate at a senior level, also with users, project managers, commercial leads, and technical staff.

Ability to sell a range of capability, including outcomes, services, and solutions.
