A fantastic opportunity for an IT Operations Officer to join a successful, friendly organisation based in Redcar. Working as an important part of a dynamic team, the salary will be up to £29,000 p.a. depending on experience, plus on- call, benefits, and agile working

As IT Operations Officer you will be end user focused, an effective communicator with a proactive approach and a team player. Your role will encompass the following:

Supporting users with technical IT system and telephony queries
Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
To provide comprehensive support across all aspects of Microsoft 365
Providing 1st/2nd/3rd line support across a wide range of systems and hardware
Take an active part in disaster recovery plans and information security
Lead on the implementation of various projects
To provide out of hours support on a rota basis (on call paid)To be successful in the role of IT Operations Officer, you will have the following:

Experience of Linux, VMWare and Active Directory
Experience of Windows 7,8,10, Microsoft Office 2013, 2016, 2019, Office 365 including Exchange and SharePoint
The ability to troubleshoot issues with PC hardware, software, mobile phones and printers
Proven experience of working in a similar level role and working to tight deadlines
Excellent communication and customer care skills
Solutions focused with an analytical, methodical approach to problem solvingWe are keen to hear from you if you have experience as an ICT Officer, ICT Manager, ICT Support, IT Support Engineer, IT Helpdesk, IT 1st, 2nd or 3rd Line Support, IT Manager or IT Service Desk Engineer.

Due to the location of this role and the on-call requirement, you will need to have access to your own transport.
