Blue chip client is looking for a Programme Manager.
For this role you will need to be based in Brussels, Belgium (50%) and you can work remotely (50%).
Description: Programme Manager Delivery and management of multiple programmes and serves as a mediator between their resources and executives. Typically in charge of planning, implementing and executing specific company goals or policies and involve monitoring associated budgets, allocating project resources and motivating and managing the programmes team members. Other duties include issuing progress reports and ensuring deadlines are met in a timely and efficient fashion.
You are responsible for leading either a large project or a definable segment of a very large and complex project. Clients may be external or internal. You are responsible for the translation of the client's complex business requirements into formal agreements. For these, you establish specific solutions, applications or processes which ultimately culminate in customer acceptance of the results. This includes working with client team members and executives to identify business requirements and subsequently working with, and leading others, in the initiating, planning, controlling, executing and closing the client's solution. You are responsible for a wide range of process activities beginning with the request for proposal through development, and final delivery.
Provide overall leadership to engagements, management of escalations, and direct project managers/teams in the delivery of high-quality deliverables within committed timeframes
Implement and monitor strong program management practices on engagements, like scope management, change request management, quality management, schedule management, risk management & compliance, as per standard implementation best practices
Manage positive client relationships across all engagements by: developing relationships with key stakeholders from the client teams, establishing continuous communication links with them and leveraging these relationships towards creating a positive experience for the client for ongoing engagements and future account expansion
Manage the engagements in line with the contractual obligations by developing clear understanding of contract and obligations therein
Third-party management with respect to delivery of the engagements
Ensure continuous and smooth communication w.r.t. project delivery among all stakeholders and team members, as needed
Demonstrate clearly, own contribution to development of existing accounts as well as new business
Management and development of reportees and project managers
Oversee engagement related forecasting and reporting
Protect the interest of client and delivery, by challenging the construct of the project and by driving innovation through triggers like but not limited to: Best practice implementation, Drive process efficiency and Develop new solutions based on sector/technology trends
Oversee relations with vendors and/or third-parties w.r.t. delivery of own engagements
Location: Brussels at the client office and sometimes remote
