Are you a Programme Manager seeking an opportunity to lead the delivery of a large and complex business change and technology implementation of new POS and Back Office systems.

As the Programme Manager, you will lead the removal of the Legacy POS and Back Office systems and replace with an approved POS, digital customer platforms and the latest operational tools. The scope also centers around driving operational efficiency benefits with completely new purchase-to-pay solutions to save management time, improve product availability, reduce waste and improve billing accuracy. This role requires a high level of key stakeholder management to gain buy-in and support to drive the operational and financial process changes required.

Key responsibilities as the POS Programme Manager but not limited to:

  • Responsible for selection, integration and implementation of the technologies
  • Responsible for managing the portfolio of projects associated with the transformation of customer and colleague experience to grow sales and improve operational efficiency
  • Replacement of ePOS
  • Replacement of Legacy Lynx DOS cash and stock management system and Front End accounting data capture
  • Management of tendering with third parties for solutions in line with the corporate guidelines and standards
  • Responsible for redesigning the full P2P process for all brands including the automation of stock ordering and invoice matching - this includes automated stock replenishment solutions
  • Delivering new source data for reporting from replacement BI solutions (Data Analytics Project) based on revised and confirmed business objectives
  • Replacement of Legacy Middleware solutions, ETL, POS data and mapping processes in order to remove single points of failure
  • Working with Solutions Architect and integration team to implement a Technical Design Authority to manage the design which meets data and infrastructure security requirements
  • Stakeholder management and delivery of Steer Co Board meetings such that all stakeholders engaged with project and updated on issues and progress
  • Management of project transition processes from project inception into delivery, deployment and on-going support

Skills, qualifications and experience:

  • Demonstrable Programme Lead experience implementing a new POS and Back Office solution
  • First class Stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills
  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on attention to detail regarding reporting dashboards
  • Able to refine typical project and programme governance processes
  • Excellent understanding of IT business processes and project interdependencies
  • Ability to critically evaluate project outputs and challenge project and programme managers whilst maintaining good relationships
  • Demonstrable experience using project management methodologies (for example, PMI, Prince II and Agile)
