Jumar Solutions are working with an award-winning company in the financial sector to recuit a Technical Security Consultant on a full time permanent basis.

The role will be a mixture of remotely based work and on-site in Warwickshire.

This is a superb opportunity for a Technical Security Consultant to provide a comprehensive Security platform engineering service on behalf of Group IT, working alongside external providers and staff.

You will develop, implement, and embed security engineering tools and best practise, influence, drive and provide support to internal and external stakeholders at all levels on technical security matters.

Key responsibilities:
  • Develop. Approve and implement the proposals for IT Technical Security Solutions, within the IT environment, in line with IT strategy
  • You will ensure that the final IT Technical Security solutions remains fit for purpose and meets the requirements
  • Monitor consoles, security tools and other security infrastructure tooling to assess requests, incident, trends, and risks in collaboration with service providers
  • Plan, direct and manage major IT technical security issues, prioritise live incidents and systems problems affecting technical security infrastructure
  • Lead, manage, motivative and develop reports so that they know what is expected, to be able to maximize their contribution to business objectives
  • Access and coordinate deployment of changes, upgrades, patches, and technical controls for technical security products and relates IT Infrastructure to make sure risks are prioritised
  • Proactively develop, monitor and deliver technical security operations procedures, standards, patterns, testing plans and technical baselines aligned to our clients Information Security Policy framework

Ideal experience:
  • Significant experience in an equivalent IT technical engineering, network or developer role
  • Broad experience across all aspects of IT Infrastructure and service
  • Significant experience of working successfully alongside projects to deliver enhancements to BAU services and security
  • Working knowledge of emerging technologies and security standards as well as wider IT market issues
  • Experience with CyberArk, IG&L, or another Identity Access Management Tool
  • Significant experience of working with IT Infrastructure across a range of technologies
  • Experience with Identity and Access Management (inc Privilege), SIEM Tooling, Network, Active Directory and Public Key Infrastructure (desirable)
