The Role

The Senior Product Manager, Cards will be responsible for managing the overall Cards product roadmap for UK and Europe. The person will build innovative card products that delight our customers and will lead cross-functional teams to manage products end-to-end in a collaborative effort between global engineering, design, customer and operations.

Responsibilities include:

Working with relevant teams to understand EMEA market requirements for Card products and define and deliver on a roadmap and strategy

Building a deep understanding of customers' needs, defining our competitive positioning and keeping on top of broader industry developments

Working closely with developers and interacting with other internal team members and stakeholders (sales, partnerships, operations etc) as well as customers to gather input and information, communicate progress and manage delivery of new initiatives. Ensure delivery provides the best experience possible for our customers

Getting your hands dirty to understand our products in-and-out as the in-house functional expert and leader in region

Evangelising the Bank as the voice of our product and ambassador of our brand, delivering expertise, education, and guidance to new and existing customers

Ability to connect the dots via gap analysis - ensure product delivery is on time and addresses customers' business needs

Fostering a culture of continuous improvement through mentoring, feedback and metrics

Localization of global offerings by working with relevant partners in the region

We are looking for the following skills/experience:


7+ years of Product Management experience, preferably with focus in delivery of Card related financial solutions in the UK or Europe.

Must have a working understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements surrounding Fintech and Financial services that may influence your product definition and solution.

Card Industry experience and knowledge.

A successful candidate has/is:

Ideally built APIs or digital financial services at scale and therefore possess a well-rounded knowledge of product systems, design thinking, and what's possible to execute in code.

Understanding of technical platforms and digital financial services - you have worked in fintech, financial services (cards required - challenger banks, payment schemes or FX desirable)

Understanding of product management processes and agile ways of working - you can manage processes to help the team do its best work at different stages of growth

Experience with Enterprise Saas Product Management, preferably with a background in Fintech and Card issuance. The team will rely on your ability to assess product feasibility and delivery timelines. Previous experience leading Go To Market product delivery projects is highly regarded.

Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership

Analytical and creative in their thinking; ability to quickly analyse information and creatively reach solutions and to execute their implementation

Leadership capabilities and excellent communication skills - you can earn the trust of people from different teams/backgrounds with a collaborative approach

Capacity to get things done at short notice while collecting information from a variety of internal and external sources

Good organisational skills and the important ability to thrive in a fast moving, dynamic environment that is fun, while serious as well (we are responsible for other people's money and we take this and our regulatory responsibilities very seriously).

Strong sense of ownership and drive - you are able to think and execute in a fast-moving, dynamic environment while prioritising across multiple projects
