Experis Switzerland is looking for an experienced Operations Manager. Our client is a leading global manufacturer of automatic door systems with around 100 employees in Switzerland.

The department Business Applications is responsible for developing and delivering the corporate business solutions and processes within the entrance system division.

The candidate lives customer service, harmonizes our service processes and drives continuous improvement.

His/her role will be to define and agree KPIs and service levels with the businesses, harmonize and implement our service processes, manage service improvement projects and support day to day operations to deliver these service levels.

Your profile:

  • Knowledge of ERP systems.
  • 10+ years experience in in Service Delivery Management in IT Applications and/or implementation of ERP solutions
  • Strong organizer and excellent internal stakeholder management
  • Risk Management & Issue Management
  • Excellent leadership Skills
  • You are flexible and can work under pressure towards deadlines
  • Ability to Manage an end-to-end Service against Service Level Agreements and KPIs
  • Escalation Management, Customer Relationship Management, and Vendor Management Capabilities
  • Fluent English and French language skills (written, spoken).
  • Willing to travel (10%-40%)
  • Bachelor or similar experience in business administration and/or information technology

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Define and agree KPIs and Service Levels Agreements with our businesses
  • Implement measures like monitoring, change processes, operations handbook
  • Ensure high-availability of our business applications; currently around 2000 users in FR, DE and CH, with the opportunity to become operations manager for whole of Europe
  • Initiate and run continuous service improvement processes
  • Establish and maintain relationship with key stakeholders
  • Liase with internal and external suppliers to agree upon and monitor SLAs
  • Resource planning
  • Manage production outages and escalations end-to-end
  • Implement and oversee release and preventive maintenance management
  • Provide reporting to management and leadership on application performance
  • To ensure that appropriate Communication and Reporting is performed keeping all the relevant stakeholders informed
  • Promote the role of effective key user management in businesses
