Established in 2015, we’re an independent growing recruitment business with a strong reputation in our market. Our business was created to provide a unique level of service, and we have enjoyed the fact that almost all our work to date has come to us as a result of recommendation or repeat business. We are now carving out a 10-year growth plan for the business, aiming to grow our team extensively as we do so and would like to bring in a like minded Business Development Manager to work with us on this.

Who are we looking for?
Someone who has a strong track record in sales, in winning new business, who is a exceptional relationship builder and who works as a partner with clients.
Someone who values spending time with clients to really get to know their business, and who operates in a professional, ethical manner.
Someone who enjoys getting out networking, meeting new contacts, developing that new client base.

The right person for this role
You will have:

Experience of working closely with management on development of a business growth strategy, discussing, reviewing and helping to shape the stages of the strategy, and its implementation
The ability to identify growth businesses as potential clients and how to engage them
A consistent background of winning new business through development of strong working partnerships
A track record of securing contracted business - contracts worth £50-100k a year minimum
Experience of securing places on PSLs
Experience of leading the development of professional business prospectuses and materials
Potential multi-channel sales experience – i.e. Perm/Temp/Exec/Contract in recruitment terms
Confidence as both a presenter and a networker
Strong negotiation skills
A collaborative working approach, working closely with our marketing team to ensure the right brand image and message goes out The objective of this role

To help launch the next stage of the companies 10-year growth plan
To generate a constant flow of new vacancies, via the identification of:
new markets
new partnerships within those markets
new ways to reach existing markets
To help the business in its goal of becoming the outsourced recruiter of choice
To build referral networks
To establish a client feedback mechanism such as Net Promotor Score system
Salary & great benefits
£25,000 - £30,000 basic and an achievable uncapped commission which enables you to generate a further £10,000 on target earnings

Family Leave - Should flexibility be needed to attend family events, or to provide support to family members, we will always endeavour to accommodate this.
Staff social events - Both ad-hoc throughout the year and the usual Christmas party
Job Related Study Leave – can be discussed with the Directors in advance, with funding potentially available for business related learning.
