Location: Field based, covering South West England & South Wales.
Salary: Competitive.
Contract: Full time, permanent.

About the role
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll build strong, valuable relationships with our existing customers at every opportunity and use your sales skills to persuade & influence – handling objections, closing sales and delivering results. Seeking out new customers to include all end users of our products, Architects, Specifiers, Contractors, Distributors & Merchants to develop and grow sales across the TN International product portfolio within a defined region and in-line with the company strategy.
Key Duties & Area of Responsibility:
• To deliver growth in key metrics defined by the Company within your region
• Responsible for the identification of all customers/potential customers, markets and product applications within area of ownerships
• Effectively adopt CRM tool platform and process
• Initiate, develop and manage sales activities within the geographical area to support business objectives
• Responsible for Demand Generation, Specification and Propositions to customers to grow sales across the whole TN International product portfolio
• Deliver quality customer communication and frequent engagement through monthly call cycles, training sessions and deliver of CPD presentations
• Accountable for sales conversion to order as a result of proactive response to customer contact, enquiries and specifications
• Responsible for feeding back marketing information concerning competition, customers etc. with respect to project specifications, pricing, distribution & delivery
• Responsible for providing to customers professional technical advice and support, services, site surveys & training to improve market share
• Accountable for delivery of results required by the business plan/strategy
• Collaborate effectively with industry partners & colleagues to deliver detailed project tracking
• Constant monitoring of customers’ satisfaction levels as well as elevating and protecting the TN International brand
• Issue commercial quotes according to the Company’s guidelines
• Perform market analysis in order to identify new trends/opportunities and conduct periodic analysis of competitors
• Performing tasks assigned by management & providing regular reports by agreed deadlines
Skills/Experience required:
• Communication - both oral and written and able to demonstrate a range of techniques and styles to ensure that communication is timely, clear and effective at all times
• Full UK Driving Licence - Essential to carry out company duties responsibly
• Experience & Key Skills - Proven Business Development or specification sales are essential or experienced within a similar background; ideally familiar with selling into or within the construction industry
• Personal Organisation - able to work in a methodical and organised way to achieve goals and ensure maximum efficiency and efficacy
• Adaptability - able to adapt to a complex, ever changing work environment including adopting a flexible approach and reacting positively to change
• Accountability - able to ensure the successful completion of every task or activity they undertake at work including having a positive can do attitude in pursuit of goals and duties
• Teamwork - recognising responsibility as a team member to include providing active support and loyalty, valuing individuals for their knowledge and contribution, encourage everyone to contribute and to ensure fellow team members are fully informed of matters that may affect them
• Quality & Customer Service - able to demonstrate clear commitment to achieving high levels of customer service to colleagues & customers
