Our client is a leading food and beverage supplier that operates UK wide. They’re all about putting the customer first and as a result of this have earned an unrivalled reputation in hospitality, education and healthcare and the number one provider of goods.
About the role:
They are looking for a junior project manager to lead the delivery on small projects and support senior project manager on larger projects. You will be working closely with third party vendors and business analysts, liaising with the enterprise architecture team, create detailed project plans, ensure compliance with governance standards and assist in the creation and delivery of communication plans. The nature of this role means you will need to be office based 2 days a week in Kent.
Skills and Experience:
GCSEs & A-Levels or equivalent 3
Computer skills (Email, Microsoft products)
Confident Presenter/Communication Skills
Willingness to learn
3 years’ experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment is advantageous
Prepared to travel to other sites with occasional overnight stays away
Some Project Management or Project Management Office (PMO) experience would be advantageous
Knowledge, skills, experience and competencies to be learned during the role.
Gain experience of delivering projects using Agile & waterfall methodologies
Gain experience of change activities such as stakeholder management and business engagement.
Understanding of Business & governance processes
Presentation and communication skills (various stakeholders)
Change Management knowledge
Financial understanding (Capex, Opex, POs & GRs)
System knowledge (SAP etc.)
