Location: London (Central) - Hybrid working model, WFH offered
Contract length: 6 Months
Pay rate: up to £250 per day (Inside IR35 but company pay employer NI & Apprenticeship Levy)
Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently looking for a Management Accountant on behalf of a leading accountancy firm. The organisation are going through an accounting system transformation and additional resource is needed to assist with the day to day running of this fast paced finance function, contributing to it's already A-Class service.
You'll be working closely with the Financial Controller and other members of the team to streamline finance processes within ITS ensuring controls are adhered to.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
Active involvement in resolving AP issues together with vendor management.
Actively involved in various month end activities which includes but not limited to Accruals, variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations.
Completion of year end accounts close including the preparation of statutory financial statements, preparation of YE extended trial balance together with relevant YE adjustments.
Active involvement in the billing and collection process.
Actively involved in the day to day activities of the entity, including accounting and cash flow management and the initial preparation of the annual statutory accounts whilst ensuring that the relevant controls are adhered to and in place.
Active involvement in code management.
Play an active role in the annual statutory audit which includes but not limited to preparing YE audit schedules, preparing tax provisions, liaison with the external auditors. Provide backup and support for the financial controller as required. Ad hoc tasks as deemed necessary by the financial controller.

Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas: Financial policies, reporting systems and engagement economics; Technical financial knowledge in order to extract and analyze financial data and prepare meaningful commentary around results.
Preparing and analyzing of financial results, research issues-Analyses of metrics, provide insight and report on results, where applicable, to respective stakeholders; Collaborating with strategic enablers within the market, peers and other finance staff across the firm to generate ideas and provide solutions from a financial/metrics perspective; Communicating with an emphasis on projecting confidence in message delivery to leadership and stakeholders.
