About the role

Our Tier 1 Client has an exciting opportunity for an energetic and proven Senior Quantity Surveyor with Change Management and NEC option A experience to join their regional team to work site based in Hereford. Ideally you will work site / home based two to three days per week.

Role Purpose:

* To liaise with the Commercial Lead, Planning / Design and Client on Change Management matters including submitting / negotiating quotes.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:

Other responsibilities, but not limited to:

* Issue Variation Orders as appropriate.

* Attend site-based project meetings and verify contractor claims.

* To liaise with the Commercial Lead, Planning / Design and Client on Change Management matters including submitting / negotiating quotes.

* Ensure familiarity with their Health, Safety and Environmental policies and comply with employee responsibilities.

* Comply with company policies, procedures and instructions at all times.

* Implement new ideas and methods whilst continuing to seek ways of improving both.

* Contributing to the organisations goals and enhancing the reputation of the company.

Who we're looking for?

Personal Qualities and Experience:

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* NEC Option A experience.

* Change account / management experience.

* Must be able to attain security clearance (DBS)

* Self-motivated and well organised with ability to operate efficiently with minimal supervision.

* Strong analytical skills.

* Commitment to their Investment Information Security Policy.
