We are now recruiting for a full time Customer Service Advisor to join our Customers and Communities team on a fixed-term basis.

The Role

The Customer Service Advisor will provide a positive customer experience every time and will develop our reputation and build positive relationships with all customers, interacting and communicating to a high standard and providing prompt, clear and accurate information and guidance that meets the varying needs of Orwell?s customers and colleagues.

The Customer Service Advisor will be joining a diverse team to contribute to the delivery of welcoming and professional service. You will provide a liaison point of communication between Orwell?s services, including property services, estate services and housing management, to ensure our customers receive quality service and information first time.

As part of this role, the Customer Service Advisor will:

-deal with complaints and listen, understand, analyse and assess each individual enquiry; to assist with trying to resolve issues at the first point of contact or escalate via Orwell?s formal complaint procedure

-log repair requests, assess, diagnose, prioritise and arrange appointments with contractors

-undertake satisfaction surveys and actively request feedback from customers

-set clear timescales to keep customers updated and informed

-work collaboratively and flexibly with colleagues, contractors and other agencies

-be proactive in resolving complex issues and situations

-deal with Housing and general enquiries

-take rent and other card payments

About you

This is a unique Customer Services opportunity, so we are seeking an individual with a flair for maintaining high levels of customer service delivery, with a focus on a positive first response and ability to assist with all levels of the business.

Our ideal candidate will:

-preferably hold an NVQ level 1 in Customer Service

-have competent and accurate administrative skills

-be competent in use of IT resources

-be able to multi-task and prioritise

-work well under pressure and be able to evidence dealing with challenging behaviour

-have a minimum of one years? experience in a customer lead service environment
