Our client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.
On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Business Analyst for a 6 month contract based remotely with associated occasional travel to Manchester.
Purpose of the Role:

transactions, while accurately collecting all the information needed to do this on time and to a high
As you continue to develop in your role, you'll support with process training and knowledge sharing across
your team, working together towards success.As a Business Analyst you will be responsible for:
Respond to queries from customers or stakeholders promptly within agreed timelines
Assist the delivery of successful customer and business outcomes, by processing, authorising and investigating all transactions to defined key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) and by accurately collecting the required information from customers or business's
Actively participate in initiatives to improve customer service, processes and procedures
Review manual or ineffective processes which could be automated, or enhanced, to enable the provision of
superior customer and business experience and service
Accurately investigating your queries, raising with relevant parties, and escalating where needed.
Making sure processing is performed accurately and within an agreed turn-around time monitoring and participating in initiatives that help improve our customer service, processes and procedures
Reviewing processing errors and customer complaints to help identify trends and training
needsWhat we require from the candidate:
Experience of working as a Business / Data analyst on Financial systems / data projects.
Good knowledge of AGILE methodologies, including JIRA & Confluence
Experience in developing and embedding new business processes and change
A good understanding of business analysis tools and practical techniques in change management that can be applied to a variety of projects and situations
Good personal skills and ability to present complex problems to end users in an appropriate manner.
General understanding of the Financial Services industry, ideally within AML and Financial Crime.
Deadline driven with effective time management and ability to work under pressure.
Ability to understand and critically assess financial business processes.
Ability to understand requirements from key stakeholders and translate them to functional requirements.
Ability to identify and evaluate key business risks and controls.
Proactive self-starter with ability to manage own workload and stakeholder expectations.
Ability to build good relationships and rapport with key stakeholders
An ability to challenge the business, where necessary, and clearly identify and communicate areas of improvementThis client will only accept workers operating via an Umbrella or PAYE engagement model.
