As their Social Media Executive, you will be a dynamic and creative individual who is also extremely good at written English and has an eye for detail to write, manage and oversee social media content. You will be working with the Marketing Director and be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the company's social media activity and social media KPIs. You will be working with the team on social strategy to increase brand awareness, improve their marketing efforts and increase sales. You will be working with the Marketing Director to develop, implement and manage their social media strategy. You will need to stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.
Job duties and responsibilities:
Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer, Later
Measure the success of every social media campaign
Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing
Collaborate with Sales and Product Development teams
Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
To be a successful Social Media Executive you will need 3-5 years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role as well as experience as a social media strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions. A qualification in Marketing would be advantageous, but not essential. You will have excellent knowledge of Tik Tok, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices. You will understand SEO and web traffic metrics and social media KPIs. You will have experience with doing audience and buyer persona research and be familiar with web design and publishing.
This Social Media Executive position is part time with flexible hours, and you will be expected to work from their Morpeth store. In return, you will receive an excellent salary package of £21,000 (based on experience and pro rata) and other great company benefits.
