Senior Front-End Developer - React.JS

Established in 2011, our Client, an innovative privately held software product company that has grown significantly over the last few years, is looking to bring on board a highly creative and diligent Front-End Developer to work on their exciting new Cloud based SaaS offering.
In this hands on role, you will be the go-to front-end developer and serve as the technical lead for all things React and web application development related within the department. You will be responsible for all technical assistance and mentoring for the wider team. This will be co-ordinated with working on an exciting product development project, from ideation to deployment and beyond. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Building the technical expertise within the team
* Collaborating with additional engineering teams to design and launch ground-breaking new features
* Taking part in technical discussions around architecture and engineering best practises
* Working closely with the UX team to make the product smarter and more intuitive to use
* Maintaining quality and support continuous testing
The ideal candidate will be an experienced, hands on web developer/engineer with a passion for slick user interfaces and performant single page apps. You will hold around 3-4 years’ solid experience of using React.JS and other modern web technologies and bring with you a broad understanding of the technological landscape as well as a passion for staying up to date with new technologies. This role could suit a mid/senior level developer looking to take on more leadership responsibilities. Experience of AWS or node.js in addition to React would be advantageous.
This role could be office based or fully remote. However, there will be an expectation that you attend office-based meetings and events at least once per month, so applicants MUST reside within the UK
