One of Badenoch and Clark's key clients is looking for an experienced Network Engineer for an initial period of 3 months. You will be working as part of a project team responsible for the network support and supervision to other members of the team.

To be considered, you must have the following experience:

*Technical Analyst responsible for providing 3rd line expertise in network systems
*3rd line support and maintenance of the technical infrastructure across the Organisation and of other SLA's organisations
*Provision of monitoring and alerting pertaining to network systems and services
*Maintenance and upgrade of network infrastructure across all environments (live, training and development/test)
*Ensuring appropriate and timely application of network operating system software patches and upgrades
*Backup and restoration of network configurations
*Participating in disaster recovery exercises and their planning
*Ensure that incidents assigned to the Technical Services team are dealt with in accordance with the department's Incident Management procedures.
*On a rotational basis, to act as incident manager for the Technical Services team
*Ensure accurate and up-to-date record keeping and the pro-active reporting across all technical infrastructures (particularly networks)
*To identify, report up and track emerging issues which may or may not have the potential to impact upon service availability or business resilience.
*Maintenance and support of network infrastructure and operating systems.
*Maintenance and support of network storage (SAN).
*Maintenance and support of data networks.
*Monitoring of system performance and capacity.
*Implement and upgrade IT systems which are required to meet the tactical or strategic goals of the Trust.
*To analyse, compare and implement complex technical solutions.
*Contribute to IT projects and solutions, meeting the agreed quality standards, timescales and cost budgets.
*Provide network and IP telephony architecture knowledge and liaison between system suppliers, users, managers and others; providing assistance in understanding their requirements.
