Indirect Procurement Manager required for an established renewable energy generator's Edinburgh office, with the ability to work remotely. With an extensive onshore wind portfolio throughout Europe, our client has ambitious growth plans and is looking to take on motivated energy professionals to help continue their success.

Joining the Procurement Team & reporting to the Commercial & Procurement Manager, you would be responsible for developing and implementing initiatives within the client's portfolio of indirect sourcing. Within the role, key responsibilities cover procurement and contract management, reporting and stakeholder engagement.

Salary Bracket: 40k-50k negotiable, depending on experience.

Duties of the role include:

* Creating, developing and implementing procurement strategy and support processes for indirect spend covering office leases, IT, marketing, transport, facilities and maintenance management across offices in the UK and Europe
* Developing ethical and responsible sourcing to ensure best practice sourcing for price, environment & quality
* Accurately forecasting indirect costs
* Reviewing and maintaining indirect spend contracts through creation of Contracts Register
* Achieving cost savings through indirect spend reviews
* Provision of commercial and contract support to local teams including internal HR, IT, Legal, Admin and Asset Management with effective procurement of goods, services and contracts
* Fostering and improving relationships with indirect external suppliers
* Supporting procurement of non-wind farm key acquisitions through effective contractual arrangements to protect the client

Essential Requirements include:

* Qualification in Supply Chain Management / Business Management
* Strong grasp of commercial management of indirect spend categories with relevant experience in related field
* Demonstrable commercial, budgetary and contractual negotiation experience
* Provision of best practice across indirect procurement
* Excellent communication, analysis & reporting skills

Experience working with spend reviews and previous strong stakeholder relations would be highly beneficial.

This role will involve some travel within the UK and Europe.

Initial visit to the Edinburgh office required with remote/hybrid/office working subsequently possible.
