Job Description

  • Monitor and report progress against agreed external/internal communications (traditional and non- traditional) targets and objectives as defined Group Communications such as: Share of voice, Tone of voice, Message penetration, etc.
  • Be the main contact for communications colleagues on how to improve impact with the targeted stakeholders for individual campaigns and overall content assets
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of communication tools (media monitoring, social listening, data aggregators, dashboards, publishing platforms, and other marketing software) and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop strong relationships with business/functional leaders and communications colleagues to create or adapt content across internal and external channels
  • Be a champion in online metrics, data interpretations and connected optimization of ROI of companies' online presence and campaigns
  • Be a communications strategic advisor and solution provider for business leaders
  • Contribute to data visualization and gathering of statistics for key company reports and campaigns
  • Use data to measure impact, adapt content and strategies, and improve results
  • Monitor and report performance of published social content and community interactions
  • Develop a digital roadmap to support the company objectives, in cooperation with the relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage and schedule daily calls for agenda surfing, track trends and monitor trends issues
  • Benchmarking & reporting for Reinsurance campaigns
  • General guidance on campaign strategy as well as ad-hoc reports
  • Agenda surfing & issues monitoring - act as a trends scout for news and global events, host daily call, provide analytics and reporting on progress
  • Content strategy
  • Tech stack of Group Communications - provide strategic advice on tools and software available to staff
  • The platform is a mixed technology stack, with the team interfacing with other systems across the bank.

Requirements

  • A university degree or equivalent in marketing and marketing research or analytics
  • > 5 years of professional-level experience in financial services or in other B-to-B/B-to-C environment in the area of marketing analytics (content, web, advertising, media channels, media and social listening, etc.)
  • Been exposed to and able to work effectively in a global corporate Matrix and in an agile set-up
  • Proven analytical skills and ability to extract insights from the data and the ability to use data to influence strategies and tactics
  • Critical thinking, as well as strong strategic, analytical and conceptual skills
  • Strong planning/project management competence as well as influencing/networking capabilities
  • A healthy level of attention to detail
  • Stamina and persistence to pursue new ideas
  • Experience in working with tools such as Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Piwik Pro or similar platforms
  • Strong conceptual skills with the ability to define and drive practical usage of analytics
  • Data visualization skills (Tableau, Power BI, Google Studio, etc.)
  • Web analytics experience and strong knowledge working with analytics tools (Google Studio, Adobe, Piwik Pro) and social media analytics experience (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)
  • Familiarity in working with social listening tools (eg Synthesio, Meltwater, Brandwatch) as well as paid media analytics (display ads, programmatic, google ads, sponsored content, etc.)
  • Ability to collaborate and break organisational silos
  • Easiness in working in a cross-cultural environment
  • Fluency in English, spoken and written

  • Place of work: Zurich
  • Desired Start Date: 18 th of October 2021
  • End: 31st of August 2022 (maternity leave cover)
  • Occupancy: 100%
  • Rate depends on seniority
