We are recruiting for a Regional Business Development Manager to work in and around South East England for our client based in the Harlow area. This is a full time Permanent role offering a competitive base salary of £30,000 - £35,000 + Bonus, company car, mobile & laptop.

This role will be perfect for a someone from a strong BD background ideally in the manufacturing or medical devices. You will need to be very focused with a real can do attitude. This role will involve travel within your defined territory and to the businesses headquarters in Harlow.

Main Job Purpose: Responsibility for developing and managing new business by working with:

Medical Device Distributors;
Wholesalers
Key opinion Leaders
Occupational Health Departments;
Emergency Services (Ambulance and Fire);
Primary Care Suppliers;
Care and Nursing Homes;
Private Hospitals.
NHS Hospitals
Respiratory Nurses
EBME / Med Physics
Lung Function
Respiratory Pharmacists if in place
Supplies Departments
Theatres
CCG's
Key Duties for this Business Development Manager will include but are not limited to:

Develop, plan and implement actions to achieve company targets.
Negotiate (within guidelines) prices, discounts and terms to ensure the best value deals are secured in align will UK pricing and that expense spending is within the agreed budget.
Analyse and evaluate weekly and monthly sales figures for account growth and trends.
Fully utilise resilience skills to revert any negative trending data back to a positive situation in the most effective and efficient manner.
Influence and negotiate with a clear commercial focus and a high margin of success.
Share best practice on market access initiatives with marketing team.
Work closely with Sales and Marketing Manager/Managing Director and marketing team to optimise business returns.
Identify opportunities for shared investment and partnership projects between the Company and defined customers.
Maintain a high level of understanding of competitor products and industry trends through networking and the web, and develop strategies to convert business.
To undertake any such reasonable additional tasks as are deemed necessary to fulfil the role.

Performance Measures:

Achievement of agreed business objectives and KPI's
Weekly/Monthly report of activity within the market to include but not limited to achievement against budget, forecasts, account planning, competitor information and CRM.
Effective communication, reporting and record keeping
