Is this role for you?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Administrator, based at our Head Office in Leeds, who will be a key member of the group Payroll team reporting through to the Payroll Team Leader.

Your key responsibilities of the role will include:

* To ensure the collation of all hours and absences for all Country Style Foods employees, at all sites, are recorded correctly and accurately and in accordance with site specific rules.

* To ensure the collation of hours for all agency staff are accurate and the Team Leaders are notified in a timely manner.

* To monitor anomalies and ensure sufficient information has been passed to site and followed up if needed.

* To ensure the successful conclusion of all employee payroll issues.

* Process and check new starter information on the Payroll and the clocking system and issue new swipe cards.

* Prepare pension letters.

* Provide statistics, data and standard reports as required.

* To communicate on a regular basis with both the Team Leaders and Assistant Payroll Manager regarding any appropriate issues.

* To ensure business compliance with all appropriate employment legislation.

* To ensure the effective, process and data maintenance in accordance with legislative and business requirements.

What are we looking for?

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate either a strong practical understanding of administrative procedures and documentation or relevant experience of working within a Payroll department or similar.

You should be should be approachable with good listening skills and have the ability to work alone or as a member of a team.

You should be well organised and have the ability to prioritise tasks as well as being comfortable in working is a fast paced, change orientated environment.

You should have sound PC skills along with good knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
