Position Overview
We are looking to fill a contractor role through January 31, 2022 with a detail-oriented,
process-oriented, creative HR Compliance and Audit Contract Manager ( Manager ) to help deliver corporate strategic initiatives as part of our global HRC program. The Manager will be the 8th member of the team and will be based within EMEA. They will report to the Senior Manager, HR Compliance & Audit based in London.
Whilst this role will have an emphasis on EMEA compliance, the Manager will need to have a global mindset-- understanding country, regional and local differences and requirements. This role will help strengthen our HRC environment by partnering with teams around the world to help design, build and test compliant business processes consistent with our focus on employee experience. They will need to build strong cross-functional relationships and be keenly focused on how we enable compliant business practices. The Manager will need to be comfortable continuously flexing in the face of the constantly changing external and internal environment, running with the pace of the business, working amidst ambiguity, and delivering on multiple simultaneous priorities.

Your Impact (Roles & Responsibilities)
The Manager will have substantial experience and subject matter expertise in EMEA and global HR-related compliance, and/or HR operations, with wing to wing understanding of the employee life cycle processes and Workday system design, as well as agile process improvement and/or project management. This contractor will have a passion for deeply understanding the complexities of compliance requirements, helping distill them into layman's terms, and working with a wide array of cross-functional partners to translate them into business process and system requirements. They will bring rigor, precision, attention to detail and efficiency in all that they do, driving projects from start to finish, delivering an excellent timely work product, communicating openly and transparently with
senior and junior colleagues, and working collaboratively within a small team and with a vast array of business partners across the globe. The Manager will work across time zones, geography and topics. Integral to success in this role are the following qualities: continuous improvement, anticipating what is coming next, pulling threads and connecting dots, conducting gap analyses and being able to prioritize the big rocks, digging into current state and collaboratively partnering to architect future state, understanding business impact, helping our first line partners mature in their process mapping and documentation, ensuring we build with a focus on the employee experience Client is known for, and getting complex projects over the finish line.

Roles and responsibilities will include:
- Serve as an integral member of the HRC team who supports our EMEA Regional Lead and key strategic projects
- Deliver on strategic projects from requirements gathering, to working with our technology team on translating these into Workday system design to deliver a great, compliant, customer experience
- Help identify HRC-related gaps or conflicts in existing processes and proactively identify compliance issues based on changes in the internal and external environment
- Help business partners design, operationalize and document mitigation efforts
- Manage and/or contribute to special projects both ongoing/recurring, as needed
- Manage own administrative tasks including scheduling meetings/managing calendars, tracking projects, and other tasks as needed

Required Skills/Experience (Basic Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience
- At least three years of experience in HR compliance, or HR operations
- Workday experience from design to implementation and problem solving
- At least three years' experience managing and implementing projects and reporting on project performance
- Experience tracking progress, results, findings and plans and report progress
- Excellent communication, collaboration, teamwork and interpersonal skills across all levels of the Company, managing through influence
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high growth, rapidly evolving workplace
- Ability to simultaneously manage complex workloads, multiple client demands, and shifting priorities under tight deadlines
- Proactive and resourceful with strong problem-solving skills
- Sound, reasonable professional judgment and business acumen
- Ability to see the big picture, while having a keen detail orientation
- Openness to feedback, comfortable with direct, transparent communication

Additional Skills/Experience (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience supporting a global company and a global mindset
- Experience testing, monitoring and auditing HR-related business processes; collaboratively developing remediation plans; and documenting the same
- Experience with complex HR-related statutory, regulatory, collective, industry and/or professional compliance standards and practices, focused on international markets
- Experience working with high growth companies and companies that operated at scale--$20B+ in Revenue
- Cloud, enterprise software or technology industry experience
- Client, Slack and/or Quip experience is a plus
- Expertise in developing process documentation and flowcharts
- Flexibility to travel for team and/or company events (domestic and international)
- Bilingual or other language proficiency
- HR Certification
