This Corporate Software IT Sales Executive role is a chance for you to join a challenging and inspiring environment where you will have the possibility to make a daily impact. This role will involve travelling 20% of the time and offers hybrid working from home and the office in Northampton. In addition to your basic salary the company offer a commission structure with an OTE £60,000 pa. This role offers career progression to a more senior position.
You will be joining the team of a software development and services company based in Northampton specialising in document management and output management by providing a suite of business automation software that focuses on improving document automation, workflow, collaboration, and internal and external communication for their 400+ customers.
As an IT Sales Executive your responsibilities will include:
Developing and executing strategies and plans in order to achieve sales targets
Generating 20 direct customer meetings, demos and workshops per month through different sources
Demonstrating and clearly differentiating the product from the competition focusing on our clear and compelling value proposition
Forecasting and delivering against substantial revenue targets and achieve the assigned sales volume
Identifying new business opportunities and follow-up the defined business opportunities
Working with partners in order to maintain and expand the business within assigned customer accounts
Working with the marketing team to drive lead generation and awareness
Supporting channel planning process and forecasting for assigned territory
The successful IT Sales Executive will have the following skills and experience:
Demonstrable selling experience, including being involved in a complex solution sales process
Sales driven with a proven track record of success driving revenue through discovering, prospecting and creating new business
The ability to identify decision makers and influencers as well as the courage to ask the right questions – you will know what to say and more importantly, how to say it
Experience in software and IT Infrastructure
Strong knowledge of MS Office and CRM applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Specific work experience in the software market is desirable not essential
Experience selling to companies with 100 to 1000+ employees
Although previous experience is required this role will also suit a graduate.
In return, you will receive a basic salary of£30,000 - £35,000 pa plus commission (OTE £50,000 - £60,000), car allowance and 25 days holiday per year.
