We are looking for a dynamic Director of Talent Acquisition, US to be part of our innovative and growing Global HR Team. The ideal candidate is a strategic and operational leader with experience in the biotech industry who brings their passion for HR and Talent Acquisition to support Cellectis' business strategies. We are looking for a candidate with strong Talent Acquisition expertise who will develop and implement critical Talent Acquisition strategies and initiatives that align and advance the business. To be successful in this role, a candidate must have strategic and operational talent acquisition expertise and execution, have strong interpersonal skills, be team player, and someone who is accountable and delivers high-quality, innovative solutions that best meet our business needs.


THE OPPORTUNITY


As a Director of Talent Acquisition for the US, supporting both the NY and Raleigh sites, you will be developing and executing Cellectis' Talent Acquisition strategies, processes, systems, plans, and practice to attract diverse, high-performing, and world-class talent. This role reports to the Chief Human Resources Officer and partners closely with business leaders across the company. Specifically, the Director of Talent Acquisition will lead talent acquisition strategies through implementation for Employee Value Propositions and branding through leveraging social media channels and strategies, assessing sourcing options to recruit the best talent and continuous build of critical talent pipeline. They'll manage the partnerships and relationships for all external resources (eg, recruitment agencies, industry/technical/colleague boards, universities, ATS, etc).


Key Responsibilities


Develop and drive a comprehensive Talent Acquisition strategy that engages a diverse pipeline of stellar candidates for all positions.


Build collaborative partnerships with leaders and hiring managers across the company to proactively understand hiring needs.


Develop an employer branding strategy with a focus on diversity and inclusion, demonstrating a deep understanding of Cellectis' mission, values and value proposition.


Lead employer branding and social media strategy efforts, partnering with Internal Communications and PR teams.


Be recognized as a trusted advisor in all areas of recruitment, from identification to onboarding.


Develop robust onboarding experience and plans to ensure colleagues are robustly onboarded and well positioned for success in their new role.


Leverage and optimize our recruitment platform to automate and streamline the recruiting and hiring process.


Track and analyze budget expenditure; seek efficiencies and measure cost effectiveness of all talent initiatives, recruitment channels, and tools.


Ensure a consistent focus on Diversity and Inclusion in all recruiting programs and processes and measure progress regularly.


Develop, implement and analyze recruitment metrics to track effectiveness and drive improvement of programs, sources and technology as well as drive recruiter performance.


In partnership with the Head of Human Resources, support Executive level recruiting efforts.


Forecast hiring needs based on company growth and manage the headcount requisition approval process in partnership with our CHRO.


Train hiring managers and interviewers on best practices for recruiting and interviewing candidates.


Develop and maintain high-functioning partnership with all teams across the organization.


Define sourcing strategies for site-based or functional candidates.


Enforce guidelines and manage the recruiting team.


Build relationships with the talent pipeline.


Maintain partnerships with external resources.


Design and implement a budget for the Talent Acquisition team.


Host recruitment events to build a candidate list.


Develop and implement contract/temporary worker process.


Qualification


10+ years experience working in high-growth, fast-paced organizations, preferably in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry with a proven track record of:


Implementing, optimizing and managing a best-in-class Talent Acquisition practice at a rapidly scaling company


Building a Diversity & Inclusion Program


Designing and delivering Hiring Manager training programs


Building Employee Value Proposition


Headcount forecasting and management


Master's degree in an HR-related field


Proven ability to influence and build trusted advisory relationships at all levels of the company


Hands on experience identifying, engaging, and closing leadership talent


Experience with utilizing a wide range of candidate sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc)


Experience with ATS and HR databases technology, Oracle HCM


Strong portfolio of contacts at health care recruiting firms and temporary/contingent workers

Physical Requirements


Work in Office; 25-30 % travel required for the role
