Asset Management Technology is seeking to hire Senior Software Engineers for both our Strategic Advisors and Equity Technology teams.
In this role you will produce high-quality, testable code for sophisticated investment management products and efficiently deploy them onto AWS. These positions can be located in Boston, Merrimack, Raleigh, Smithfield and/or Westlake.
Equity Technology team develops and supports products and capabilities for global sector research, disciplined portfolio management and sector-aligned trading. These products are used by Equity Trading desks in Boston, London and Hong Kong processing billions of dollars' worth of trades.
Strategic Advisor Technology
Strategic Advisors Technology (SAT) team develops & supports Managed Account Platform leveraging extensive analytical, research, and management capabilities to package the best of Fidelity and the marketplace into unique solutions that meet strategic and customized targets while solving for our clients business, investment, or retirement objectives
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
Bachelors degree (or above) in either Engineering or Computer Science related field
5+ years' experience as a full stack software engineer, delivering software using agile development practices
Deep knowledge of Middleware Java stack, Spring framework, Oracle, messaging technologies (EMS or KAFKA) and web containers
Exposure to test automation frameworks (JUNIT, Cucumber/FITNESS, Karate) that support all types of testing (unit, component, integration, system etc.) executed through CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to SQL/PLSQL
Proven understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
Experience of AWS services and deployment
Strong contributor with a collaborative work style in building, crafting and reviewing code
Brings curiosity and a questioning mind-set to work, asking always about the why and the value of an activity or task
