Investment & Trading Support Analyst Developer MS T-SQL

This is a rare opportunity to join one of the most innovative technology led Global Investment Management firms and join a great Investment and Trading IT operations team.

This is a dev-ops analyst profile role and as such you will work with the business throughout all stages of the development life cycle including requirements gathering, through design, development and testing to direct business contact to provide continuous application enhancement and support. You will also work as part of the global team to provide business critical trading applications support to resolve production support issues.

We envisage that you will have around 4-6 years exposure gained working with trading or related systems/data at another Asset manager or Financial Services company. This experience will have given you a good understanding of business requirements and investment data and concepts.

You will be familiar with Order Management/
Execution management OMS systems such as;

  • Market Axess
  • TradeWeb
  • LiquidNet
  • Trumid
  • FX All/Bond Trader/Bloomberg EMSX

You will have experience of working with a range of Microsoft technologies, mainly hands on with complex T-SQL queries & procedures. You will be comfortable with troubleshooting and will have developed fast problem-solving skills.

Experience required:

Required:

  • MS SQL Server 2017 or above - SSDT, SSIS
  • XML/XPATH/XSLT
  • Visual Studio, TFS, VSTS

Technology (Good to have):

  • C#
  • API dev/Support.
  • Web development
  • Design patterns, unit testing
  • SSRS
  • Azure cloud exposure

Other Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4-5 years of experience with T-SQL development experience
  • Minimum 4 years of application development &support experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or business discipline preferred
