We are looking for a Sales Manager where you will be responsible for maximising all revenue opportunities, devising packages to attract profitable business for the hotel and developing and maintaining personal and corporate relationships. You will need to keep up to date with latest trends in the boutique hotel industry to offer bespoke and targeted options for guests, drawing on the hotel's unique appeal.

Your Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the development and lead on the execution of the sales strategy to generate consistent year on year growth
Effective database management including existing and prospective clients, delivering an effective contact strategy to maximise bookings and revenue
To present a monthly sales update, including revenue and planned future activity whilst remaining flexible and reacting to business conditions and the marketplace
Devise packages to maximise occupancy rates in rooms, the restaurant, meeting room bookings and attendance at the lifestyle and wellbeing programmes
Work closely with the Social Media team to ensure planned and targeted content is delivered across all platforms
To take the lead for ensuring all telephone/email contacts and site visits are carried out professionally, understanding the needs of the visiting client and converting this into a booking
To handle the booking process from enquiry all the way through to the visit, ensuring that information is handed over to the operations team in a timely manner
Drive positive guest feedback on all online platforms by providing a great guest experience and encouraging guest reviews
Maintain relationships with a deeply engaged, loyal group of customers who use the hotel services regularly and act as ambassadors of the hotel, recommending it to their own friends, family and key contacts
Review feedback on social media platforms and respond to these pro-actively and positively, identifying trends and dealing with issues swiftly
Follow up sales leads in a timely manner to maximise the opportunity to convert interest into sales
Work closely with the Revenue Consultant to maximise revenue opportunities and support the revenue strategy Your professional skills, attributes and experience will include:
