Senior Engineering Manager, Infrastructure and SRE

YOUR MISSION: Lead, grow and manage a team of DevOps & SRE engineers that is responsible for building and maintaining a global secure, scalable cloud-first infrastructure to help Zuora scale and support its rapid growth.
THE OPPORTUNITY (AKA: Why you want this role over any other out there)
This role will be responsible for leading a team of Site Reliability and DevOps engineers that manages all of Zuora's corporate systems and AWS services across 16+ locations in 11 countries. We are looking for a hands-on technical manager who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and deliver technical design and execution for Zuora's success.

WHAT YOU'LL ACHIEVE
Provide technical leadership for SRE & DevOps initiatives
Provide regular reports on infrastructure availability and performance based on Service Level Objectives (SLO) & Service Level Indicators (SLI)
Coach, develop and scale the SRE & DevOps team for successful IT operations
Collaborate with key stakeholders and leadership to support design and deployment of applications in an automated fashion with high emphasis on security and performance.
Help implement and operate end-to-end infrastructure monitoring and alerting system to measure uptime and SLAs
Provide On-call support for production services to help meet uptime SLAs with some hands-on support expected.
Lead infrastructure design and innovation to ensure low cost and agile solutions improving Zuora's competitive advantage
Provide project management, sprint planning, and road-map creation support to the team
Make recommendations for improvements to current processes and procedures
Cultivate a culture of software-defined infrastructure, automation, best practices, metrics, and consistency across the organization
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
10+ years of of Linux Systems Engineering/Architecture experience
5+ years of experience managing a team of engineers
Four-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Business Information Systems or equivalent work experience.
At least 5 years of experience designing, building and maintaining AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, Security Groups, IAM, ECS, CloudFront, S3, MSK, CloudWatch, ACM)
Hands-on experience deploying and managing infrastructure with Terraform
Hands-on experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack
Hands-on experience with devops tools such as Docker, Git, Consul, Nomad, Vault, Jenkins, and Grafana
Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools such as New Relic, Instana, AppDynamics, Datadog, Prometheus, Splunk, ELK, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail
Confidence to articulate a vision to executives and stakeholders
Experience with regulatory compliance standards (SOX/PCI/SEC/FINRA, etc.) preferred
Knowledgeable of operational practices including DevOps and agile
