About the role:
In this role, you will be responsible for recruiting, managing, coaching and training a Business Development / New business sales people.
Your role will combine a variety of tasks centred around driving pipeline through inbound and outbound from scratch and through to close. You will look to create strong processes, create career progression paths and set the tone and culture of the sales team moving forward. You will also forecast, look at target plans and support in the growth of the business.
Further responsibilities include creating incentive plans and ensuring the team achieves and exceeds on all set KPI's.
You are an exceptional Sales Manager with a proven track record managing a 360, closing Sales team. You started your career in sales and have both closing and lead generation team management experience.
You are a strong, hands on leader who can support the team in creating well qualified appointments, attending meetings and closing new business
Core skills and background include:
·Ideally c5 years experience within Sales and Sales leadership
·A background within payments, fintech or PaaS
·Experience managing high potential sales people
·Background selling / managing within a complex, consultative sales process
·Strong communication and management skills
·Target driven mentality and decisive mind-set
·Research and analytical skills
·Creative and lateral thinking: ability to find new routes to leads and opportunities
·Ability to create new global processes and follow through implementation
·Passion for coaching and mentoring high performance individuals
