One of the UK's top IT resellers is providing an exciting opportunity for an IT account manager to join their highly successful sales team. As an established account manager, you will be carrying out new business functions and client retention. The Account Manager candidate will be selling a wide range of products and services to prestigious end-user clients across the public and private sectors.
My client is seeking an Account Manager to conduct new business to build a strong sales pipeline, therefore, you must be new business oriented in order to be successful in this role. IT reseller experience is also a pre-requisite for successful Account Manager candidates to be successful with their application to this role; end-user experience is mandatory.
Client retention is highly important for our client, therefore it would be preferable for Account Managers to bring client relationships to their new role, in order to demonstrate their account management capability. In addition, the ability to demonstrate a minimum of £20k GP per month is required for Account Managers to be successful.
Candidates do not need any specific product knowledge, but experience selling a wide range of IT products, including SAAS, is desirable. Specifically cyber/cloud and a range of infrastructure products to both the public and private sector is especially favourable.
You will benefit from uncapped commission, with the realistic prospect of earning over £100k per annum. Account Managers will also have the luxury of home/office flexibility and clear career progression opportunities within a rapidly expanding company.
