CRM Solutions Architect

ForwardPMX is looking for a CRM Solutions Architect. As our CRM Solutions Architect you will be responsible for leading solutions design consultation with clients and agency teams in the domain areas of CRM and 1st Party Data Management. You will identify, define and drive functional and technical strategy and solutions to support our clients' complex business processes and needs. You will support the definition of CRM strategy, advise on CRM best practices and drive continued performance against our client's growth and revenue goals. The role requires a combination of creativity and strategic thinking, as well as strong analytical, technical, and consultative skills.
Support client consulting for the delivery of Email and SMS solutions on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform involving marketing automations, data extensions, API integrations, dynamic email templates and implementation of customer journeys.
Lead discovery workshops with clients to uncover and synthesize both technical and business goals, challenges and information.
Present potential solutions to business stakeholders to get buy in on proposed project deliverables and approach.
Work closely with onshore and offshore team members to plan technical integration approaches, including data flow, architectural diagram/visuals and other technology requirements documentation.
Work closely with agency business development teams in the identification of opportunities with new and existing clients to deliver CRM consulting and solutions.
Use business analyst skills to document customer user stories, requirements and technical overviews of solutions. Write comprehensive functional design specifications and lead architecture and configuration of the overall solution.
Develop solution roadmap by identifying target applications, features (functional/non-functional), scope, dependencies, timeline, and migration plans.
Work with development team to ensure technical requirements and design is understood, and best practices are followed for functionality, performance and security. Ensure solutions align with the roadmap.
Define and guide the build of marketing automations for scenario-based dynamic email builds and deployments. Work with 3rd party API integrations, SOAP API and Rest API. Understand daily program automations and data processes; troubleshooting when necessary.
Direct the setup and monitoring of ad hoc, triggered, and transactional programs, including optimization of existing programs and development of new programs
Prepare testing plans for A/B testing and segmentation response strategies
Develop and oversee email personalization and segmentation strategies
Design and manage data-driven, segmented, dynamic campaigns delivered to the right people at the right time
Oversee solution design, build, & testing to ensure it adheres to strategy & standards
Stay current on email and SMS marketing best practices and share learnings and insights regularly with the broader marketing team

6+ years hands-on CRM experience (preferably with 3+ at a Salesforce partner)
Experience working with various ESPs and CRM/Marketing Automation systems (experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred)
HTML, CSS and AMPScript email coding proficiency; comfort with cross-client email coding best practices
Experience with relational database, data migrations from third party systems to Salesforce.com, data analysis, and reporting
Familiarity with email quality assurance and deliverability management processes and tools (Litmus, Email on Acid)
Knowledge of email industry & SMS best practices including contact strategies, data hygiene, targeting and segmentation, A/B testing principles and analytics
Solid quantitative skills and familiarity with web analytics tools
Strong project management background; experience collaborating across multiple stakeholders and departments to successfully execute projects
Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Intellectual curiosity, sound problem-solving and decision-making abilities, and strength in creative and innovative thinking
Ability to synthesize and analyze many sources of information, and develop path forward to achieve desired outcome
Salesforce Architect certification a plus.
Knowledge of APIs and plug-in development a plus
Experience with mobile email optimization (and responsive email template builds) a plus
Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills
