Coventry or Liverpool

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager within the Strategic Development (Industrial Sectors) department. You can be based at either our state of the art facility near Coventry or the Liverpool offices based within the Liverpool Science Park

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will deliver revenue growth across a range of industry sectors including; FMCG, Healthcare and Food and Beverage. Thriving in a sales environment, you will know the importance of building solid relationships with key customers and potential business partners. With a proactive approach, you will identify opportunities within our existing customer base and demonstrate a good understanding of their technological and strategic roadmaps and how we can assist with their needs and requirements. Confident and charismatic, you will be accustomed to generating leads and managing your pipeline and will feel at home negotiating terms and prices and networking with customers, representing the business whilst ensuring that you reach and exceed regular targets.

They’re looking for an individual with strong consultative / solution selling experience and a successful track record of closing multi-million pound sales pipelines. You’ll be adept at translating complex requirements into practical solutions and will manage expectations to meet project deliverables. An excellent communicator, you will be articulate and financially literate, ensuring that we continue to grow our profit margin whilst providing excellent customer satisfaction. You’ll be able to engage with internal stakeholders, particularly engineers, and provide a good understanding of relevant technology and engineering opportunities. Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you have a full, UK driving licence and a flexible approach to working
