We’re looking for a meticulous Finance Manager to join a newly established manufacturer based in Glossop who have experienced exponential growth throughout the last 12-months. Operating within the wholesale and retail sectors, they have big plans to propel them into further success and are looking to add a talented Finance Manager to their team to assist with their growth.

You will need to be self-motivated, highly organised, able to meet deadlines and comfortable working independently within a small management team. The role can be varied and the right candidate will need to be well organised and have the ability to switch between tasks.

What’s on offer?

* £25,000 - £30,000 with a view to increase after probation

* Hours of work: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday – Friday

What will you be doing as a Finance Manager?

* Producing the monthly management accounts and providing commentary on these, analysing any variances

* Supporting in the budgeting and forecasting process; assisting in the month/year end processes including accruals, debtors, creditors, VAT, cash-flow and balance sheet reconciliation

* Working with management to prepare annual budgets and provision of information to inform the business model

* Supporting the business unit to prepare business plans and undertake commercial evaluation of new opportunities and development plans

* Acting as the main point of contact with suppliers for any financial matters and updating daily sales information / tracking vendor performance

What do you need?

* A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a finance / accounts role or similar, with knowledge of budget management

* Must be IT literate and be able to use industry standard word processing, spreadsheet, and experience with Sage Line 50

* Full understanding of accounts from reports, reconciliation, and bank returns

* Be highly organised skills, able to prioritise and have high attention to detail

* Experience with Sage 50 payroll would be an advantage
