You'll be working for Jewson in Cricklewood. Jewson is one of more than 30 exciting Saint-Gobain brands in the UK and the UK's leading chain of builder's merchants. Supplier of building materials & equipment, supplies, tools & timber with 500 branches across the UK.

Degree qualified or relevant experience
Previous HR experience
CIPD qualified
It is important to be able to engage and collaborate with all team members and stakeholders at different levels.
Good organisational skills
Ability to drive and deliver key change programmes across a multi-site business
Proficient in Microsoft Office, HR systems and /or databases
Knowledge of the fundamentals of Data Protection and the need for confidentiality
Excellent communication and team working skills with a strong sense of solidarity and loyaltyWhat will I be doing in the role?

In this role you will;

Participate in cross functional business projects as required and be proactive in initiating improvement projects within the HR department
To be the dedicated HR contact for the Jewson London Region and other allocated functions as agreed by the HR Director from time to time. Supported by the HR Business Partner as appropriate.
Support the development and implementation of regional plans across a large multi-site network - with an aim of improving collaboration and driving cultural change
Be the internal expert on Apprentices, working with line managers to ensure and monitor quality of provision and best practice experience for our apprentices
Proactively improve HR systems and processes by reducing waste and stream lining procedures and documentation
Carry out all responsibilities in accordance with the Principles of Conduct and ActionAbout us
