Position Highlights: The IT Quality Assurance Analyst conducts quality assurance reviews for customer and internal user-facing applications with accuracy speed, efficiency, and professionalism to meet the high-quality service delivery standards of the enterprise. Responsible for high-quality support and services to all lines of business and customers. Attention to detail, a strong understanding of ERP, web, and mobile software development, and the ability to quickly learn the home building industry are critical for this position. Ensures security and safety standards are followed per company policies and procedures. Acts in a lead capacity to lower-level staff by providing support and guidance.
Create test plans, test cases, and drive continuous improvements to the quality assurance processes
Perform testing and QA on new/changed systems including packaged release updates.
Create bug reports and work iteratively with developers to correct defects.
Develop test script libraries in conjunction with automated solutions
Investigate and reproduce bugs and drive fixes through test and production stages
Define quality metrics and implement measurements to determine test effectiveness, testing efficiency, and measure the overall quality of the software.
Work with both in-house and external Product Managers, Developers, Leads and review technical artifacts to understand the technical architecture and derive test strategy that spans across multiple products and functional areas.
Interpret and report testing results and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process
Assisting with production validation following release deployments
Plans, coordinates, and monitors UAT test design and execution in collaboration with the Project Manager and development team.
Can pick out the detailed subtle differences in visual details such as font colors/styles/sizes, overall colors, layouts, branding, spacing, line widths, and recognizing discrepancies between the staged environment and original designs
BS/BA required in Computer Science or other related major.
Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) certification is a plus
3 + years in Quality Assurance experience working on mobile applications and desktop/mobile web-based applications
2 + years in web QA experience
1 + years in Salesforce Automation experience
1 + years of JD Edwards or similar ERP experience is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
Aptitude for learning new technologies and concepts
Work effectively in a team setting
Must be able to self-organize workloads and manage multiple parallel deadlines
Experience executing and coordinating integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing.
Excellent background in foundational concepts of SDLC, and testing best practices throughout SDLC
Experience and strong understanding of automation tools
Expertise in GitHub code repositories
Experienced in working with automation frameworks with DevOps or GitHub
2 + years with MuleSoft
Experience with Agile Scrum framework
Experienced in building Automation Framework with Selenium and Protractor, etc.
