About the Client
Based in the North West UK, this company are global specialists in high quality cleanroom design and manufacture. They design, build and validate industry-leading critical environments, offering a range of modular cleanroom solutions. They provide their clients with the most appropriate classified environment for their process. As they secure larger high value contracts to deliver as PC, they are looking to expand their Senior Management team with some experienced construction contracting professionals to lead the business through this transitional phase.
About the Role
You will join as an experienced Commercial Lead to sit with the Projects Team, reporting directly into the Head of Projects.
The role will cover all contractual and financial aspects of assigned design and build projects, including forecasting, budget management, change and risk management control.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Developing and implementing the commercial strategy and leading assigned commercial project activities
Driving commercial excellence across contracts and projects
Providing guidance, advice, diligence and instruction to support the tendering, negotiation, placing and administration of subcontracts.What you Need to Succeed
You will be educated to HND/degree level or equivalent in a relevant commercial discipline.
Membership of the RICS/CICES is preferred but not essential.
However, you must be able to demonstrate:
Relevant industry experience of commercially managing and administering design and build projects in any of JCT, NCE, FIDIC or IChemE forms of contracts
A detailed knowledge of commercial project management within contact process environmentsWhat You'll get in Return
