As a Programme Manager within the Group Transformation Office, you will be accountable for the leadership and delivery of Group Transformation Programmes, to enable the business to deliver the 5-year business plan.
You will be a valued member of the team and as the Programme Manager will be expected to deliver and lead high quality programmes and deliverables across a broad range of innovative technologies, M&As and business areas through various delivery methodologies to provide value and benefits to the business.

What will my duties be?
Define the programme's governance structure, proactively monitor progress, resolve issues and manage risks and report at regular intervals
Develop and manage to an effective stakeholder engagement plan and ensure business leads and subject matter experts are mobilised for success
Plan and design the programme to deliver the programme goals with clarity on the decomposition of projects and work-streams
Manage the programme budget with a focus on delivering value for money. Monitor costs against budget, provide accurate forecasts and track enablement of benefits
Provide effective line management to project managers and coaching/mentoring to other programme team members
Ensure successful delivery of changes from the projects and work-streams are to expected quality, time and budget in line with the overall programme plan and adherence to the agreed governance framework
Work with procurement and Group IT to ensure the third party contributions to the programme provide value for money
Work with the Business and Group IT to transition to business as usualWhat is the salary, benefits and working arrangements?
The starting salary is c.£100,000 per annum coupled with an excellent and competitive premium benefits package which comprises of 33 days holiday (inc Bank Holidays) with the ability to buy and sell more days. A 10% employer pension scheme, company funded family private medical insurance, family critical illness cover (2x annual salary) as well as life assurance (4x annual salary). The role is full-time and permanent. We are flexible on the base of this location and are happy for the successful candidate to work remotely, however the candidate must be able to attend team catchups/meetings in Tunbridge Wells or London once per week.
What we're looking for:
A minimum of 8-10 years' experience in programme management with a strong track record in delivering to cost, time and quality, ensuring flawless execution and full extraction of benefits
Financial and Insurance Services experience with business knowledge essential
PMI / MSP or similar qualification essential
Experience of designing change projects which align all elements of the organisation e.g. strategy, processes, systems, structure, values, behaviour, skills, engagement and communication
Proven ability to lead, engage, and influence up to and including board level
Led programme teams of 50 people
Strong coaching skills and ability to transfer knowledge and techniques
Financial literacy (budgeting, reporting, interpretation) and managed £multi-million budgets
Ability to broker pragmatic solutions that strike the right balance between competing requirements
